Long Island, NY (PRWEB) April 17, 2008 -- National Record Store Day brings on the beats when Long Island's hot new dance artist on Catz Entertainment, amberRose Marie, performs her Billboard hit, "Destiny" in stores with CD autographing to follow on Saturday, April 19th and Sunday, April 20th at Record Stop, CD Island and Looney Tunes joined by Long Island hit music station, 106.1 BLI and the station that puts the party in the dance, Party 101.1 & 105.3.

Well, the party is back and it's being celebrated in grand style on Long Island and all across the country to pay tribute to community record stores. The day is the brainchild of the, Alliance of Independent Media Stores, Coalition Of Independent Music Stores, Music Monitor Network, Newbury Comics, Value Music Group and is supported by the American Association of Independent Music and hundreds of artists and retailers who will join as one, with unique instore activities.

The Record Store Day activities vary, but one thing is for sure, music lovers on Long Island are sure to have a blast as native, amberRose Marie celebrates the release of her hot new Billboard hit single, "Destiny" from shore to shore. Long Island Radio stations 106.1 BLI and Party 101.5 & 105.3 WDRE are joining the fun with special goodies designed with Long Island flair for their listeners.
