New York, NY (Billboard Publicity Wire) June 6, 2008 -- Officially launched in June 2008, ConcertAttack (www.ConcertAttack.com), a live music social network, is an online destination for artists and fans to easily share their concert experiences through their concert pictures, reviews, videos and tour journals. Even at its young age ConcertAttack is already making its mark with a video interview with Capitol Records Nashville recording artist and the 2008 Academy of Country Music's Top New Vocal Group, Lady Antebellum, as well as a video interview from the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival featuring Lars Ulrich of Metallica.

"It's amazing how being involved in a plane crash puts a new perspective on your life. It made me want to connect more with my family and friends. And after 17 years of being involved in music with other people, it drove me to start something of my own," says Jason Cohen, founder of ConcertAttack. "When the idea came to me, I didn't see anyone else really providing this kind of community for artists and fans. Concert content was scattered all over the web and inaccessible because of restrictions by other social networks. I just felt that did not work well with concert content. Concerts should be a shared experience."

In addition to providing a way for artists and fans to share their concert experiences, ConcertAttack organizes concert content by artist, location and date, without user privacy restrictions, providing a place where concert content is easily accessible. When asked why this is a standout from other music-based social networks Cohen replies, "No one focuses strictly on live music. Seeing an artist live, Superstar or Indie, Local or International, is really I feel the true test of the artist. When an artist has that 'X factor' and people pick up on it, it is truly amazing. ConcertAttack helps to relate that to people online and in turn drive more people to go to concerts and buy music."

Beta launched in March 2008, ConcertAttack has already seen steady dedicated growth from its community. "Our community members are awesome! They really love everything about concerts. They upload tons of pictures from the concerts they go to and we all get to see the ratings and comments they leave. The site makes me realize that there are some artists that I am definitely missing out on and have to go buy a ticket for," says Cohen.

Although Cohen is hush about the new features being added to the site, he assures that they will be focused on helping people make choices about who to see in concert and make it easier for people to share their concert experiences. Cohen concludes, "The feeling you get from a concert is just great! We capture that by being the online destination for sharing your concert experiences."

More About ConcertAttack: Based in New York City, ConcertAttack (www.ConcertAttack.com) is an online destination for artists and fans to easily share their concert experiences through their concert pictures, reviews, videos and tour journals. Community members can easily find and share concert content and help to promote the artists they see in concert.
